Crew Connect Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Crew Connect, a timesheet application operated by App Integration Solutions, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using Crew Connect you agree to them. If you use Crew Connect as an employee, your employer has subscribed to the service and agreed to these terms on its own behalf; these terms describe what you and we may expect of each other.
The service
Crew Connect records clock-in and clock-out events, with the job site, cost code, location and photograph attached to each, and produces timesheet and payroll reports from them for the subscribing employer. Employers configure the rules that turn clock events into paid time. Crew Connect is a record-keeping tool; the employer is responsible for the accuracy of its own pay rules and for paying its people.
Accounts
Accounts are created by the subscribing employer, never by self-registration. Field crew are set up in person by scanning a one-time code, or by a set-up link sent to their email address; the link is never texted. On that set-up screen each field crew member decides for themselves, with a box that is unticked until they tick it, whether sign-in codes may be texted to the number their employer entered. They sign in with a one-time code rather than a password. Administrators either receive an email invitation and sign in with a password, or are promoted from the crew and keep signing in with a one-time code. Keep your sign-in code, password and device to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account, and your employer can deactivate it at any time.
Text messages
Text messages go only to a field crew member who ticked the box on their own set-up screen agreeing to them — an employer cannot agree on an employee's behalf — and, once texting is switched on, only to deliver one-time sign-in codes. Message frequency depends on how often you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts — you can still sign in by asking for your code by email instead. Reply HELP or email support@crewconnect.live for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Acceptable use
Use Crew Connect only to record your own time, honestly. Do not record time for someone else, tamper with location or photographs, probe or overload the service, or try to reach another employer's data. Employers may not use Crew Connect to collect information about people who are not their employees.
Your data
How Crew Connect collects and uses information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. Time records belong to the subscribing employer; we hold them on its behalf.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Crew Connect available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted service. Releases may briefly interrupt it. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice to subscribing employers. The service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from use of Crew Connect. Our total liability to a subscribing employer for any claim is limited to the fees that employer paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
An employer may end its subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms. On termination the employer may request an export of its records before they are deleted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
